ABOUT

Venezuelan born American artist 1955, lives in the US since 1969. Attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA in the 1970s and 80s

Influenced by street art, American art of the 60s through the 80s, as well as a Latin American cultural heritage, his paintings and woodblock prints have evolved into a uniquely personal style. His art career expands several decades, having participated in solo and group exhibitions in the US and South America.

After a hiatus from art and a career in Nursing, Pablo returned to art in 2022, painting and woodblock printmaking full time. The new work is a continuum of his previous body of work with figurative/abstract imagery encompassing ambiguous, cartoon-like “characters” that morph from abstract shapes.
